Sound output
As for the sound output, I bought a Text-to-Speech synthesizer chip (TSP5220CNL) that receives my mojoysticks variables serially. Since the chip is discontinued and I can't seem to find any datashhet over the internet, I experimented a lot with its communication protocol. It seems that 4800 baud rate works the best, it produces mono bleeps and clicks that are very interesting. Further experimentations will be made, yet I feel a satisfactory level of serotonin flowing through this project.
To make it more interesting I thought of a way to have interactive sounds that corresponds to the mojoysticks inner variables. So I built a stereo divider circuit that sends low frequencies over one speaker and high frequencies to the other so that it simulates a stimulating discussion between the male and the female joystick.
I will also try to make a dynamic stereo panning device that responds to my mojoysticks to further improve that sense of discussion.
