Mojoysticks

MojoySticks is a prototype for an artificial sexuality simulator. We modified Atari joysticks into overly sexualized devices (1 male and 1 female controller) by adding sensors to feel the hands position and actions. Button-mashing is replaced with caressing and rubbing. Exciting a controller triggers the implemented force feedback rumble pack of the other player’s controller. On screen, the 2 characters are represented with geometric forms that grow as the excitation becomes greater. The goal is for players to get synchronized in order to have a pleasant virtual sexual relationship.
